Who we are

This website belongs to Cabana Casa DeSub Scaun, Str. Principală nr. 191, Bistra Mureșului, Deda, Mureș County, Romania. The controller of your personal data is Petru Anghel Pop, the owner of the cabin, a private individual, at the same address.

What data we receive and why

• Booking request. The form on the website does not send or store anything. It only prepares a message that you send us on WhatsApp: your name, phone number, dates, number of guests and your message. We use them to confirm your booking and contact you.
• Payment. When you pay by bank transfer we see the payer’s name, the amount and the payment details, so we know who paid the deposit.
• Guest registration form. On arrival, Romanian law requires us to fill in the guest arrival and departure form with the details from your ID.
• Visit statistics. We count visits to the website anonymously (for example visits per day and country), without cookies and without being able to identify you.

How long we keep data

We keep booking request data as long as needed for the booking and the stay. Accounting records (payments) and guest registration forms are kept as long as the law requires. After that we delete them.

Who else sees the data

We do not sell or share your data. Some technical services automatically receive your internet (IP) address when you open the website:

• Cloudflare – hosts the website and counts visits anonymously;
• Google Calendar – we only read the busy days from it to show which dates are free;
• Open-Meteo – for the weather at the cabin;
• WhatsApp (Meta) – if you message us on WhatsApp, the message goes through their service;
• the bank you transfer from.

Links to Instagram, Facebook and Google Maps take you to their websites, where their own privacy rules apply.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see the data we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it (except what the law requires us to keep). Write to us at the address above. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority (dataprotection.ro) or to the authority in your own country.
