What you’ll find at the cabin
Everything you need for a great getaway with family or friends: the comfort of a mountain home, a whole yard just for you and the quiet of the forest right next door.
Restful sleep for 10 guests
Three cosy bedrooms: two with two double beds each and one with a double bed. Two bathrooms with showers and a washing machine. Fresh bed linen and towels are ready when you arrive, and insect screens keep the bugs outside.
Open living space for the whole group
One open room to cook, eat and spend time together: hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, a coffee maker for your morning coffee and free Wi-Fi. For the little ones: a high chair and a cot.
Hot tub under the open sky
The wooden hot tub is built into the deck, with air massage and colourful lights that make the evenings magical, in summer or winter, even while it snows. Sun loungers wait right next to it. With the hot tub package you can use it as much as you like.
A gazebo for long dinners with friends
A grill and a wood-burning stove with an oven, perfect for homemade pizza. A table for 10, a corner sofa, a fridge-freezer and dishes. Outside there is also a barbecue area with a large grill, a cauldron and a disc grill.
Evenings by the fire under string lights
The wooden pergola in the middle of the yard, with benches and a fire pit, is where everyone gathers in the evening. An open-air fire, good stories and a sky full of stars.
Fun for kids in every season
Trampoline, slides, swings and hammocks in summer, sleds in winter. The kids play safely in the fenced yard while you enjoy the peace and quiet.
Games for the whole group
A net and a basketball hoop in the yard for matches with friends, and darts inside for quieter evenings.

The cabin sits in the Mureș Valley at the entrance to the gorge, between the Călimani and Gurghiu mountains. Distances are approximate, from the cabin.
Scaunul Domnului Peak (God's Chair)
The 1,381 m andesite rock the cabin is named after, at the western end of the Călimani Mountains. The blue-stripe trail starts in Bistra Mureșului: about 9 km, 3–4 hours, medium difficulty. At the top, a plateau awaits you with a wonderful view over the whole area.

Water bursts out of the rock and falls in several streams down a wall of about 40 m. Reach it through the Bistra Valley on the blue-cross trail towards Poiana Cofu. Locals also call it "Chișoiul Vacii".

Every weekend and every Monday–Thursday stay for the next 12 months, plus Christmas, New Year's Eve and other holidays. Pick an available period, fill in the form and send us your request on WhatsApp. Your booking is confirmed after a deposit of at least 500 RON.

Quick answers
How many people can stay?
Up to 10. The cabin has 3 bedrooms (two with two double beds each, one with a double bed), 2 bathrooms with showers and an open-plan living room with kitchen.
Can I rent just one room?
No. The cabin is rented as a whole for at least 2 nights, so the house and the yard are yours alone.
How much does it cost?
A weekend (Friday–Sunday, 2 nights) is 1,600 RON for the whole cabin. The same price applies midweek, from Monday 4 pm to Thursday 12 noon (3 nights). With the unlimited hot tub package it is 2,000 RON with the unlimited hot tub package. Holiday rates are higher.
How do I pay?
By bank transfer only. The cabin is booked once you pay a deposit of at least 500 RON; the rest is due no later than 24 hours before arrival.
Can we bring a pet?
Yes, small pets are welcome.
Is smoking allowed?
Not indoors. Outside in the yard, yes.
Are bed linen and towels included?
Yes, they're ready when you arrive.
We're coming with small children. What is there for them?
A playground with trampoline, slides, swings and hammocks (plus sleds in winter), a high chair and a cot. The yard is fenced.
What can we cook with?
The kitchen has an electric hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, egg boiler and dishes. Outside, the gazebo has a grill, a wood-burning stove with a built-in oven (great for pizza), a fridge-freezer and dishes. Outdoors there is also a dedicated barbecue area with a large grill, a cauldron (ceaun) and a disc grill.
Is there parking?
Yes, private paved parking in the yard.
Is there internet?
Yes, free Wi-Fi.
